The course covers automotive control, EV powertrain, battery systems, embedded software, diagnostics, and functional safety through progressive modules.
✓ Master automotive controller fundamentals, control theory, system dynamics, E/E architectures, sensors and actuators, and the transition from manual coding to Model-Based Design (MBD).
✓ Develop advanced EV and hybrid control strategies using open- and closed-loop architectures, PID, MPC, adaptive control, motor feedback loops, calibration mapping, and control-strategy trade-off analysis.
✓ Engineer battery and charging control systems through plant modeling, Coulomb counting, sensor compensation, transient voltage simulation, CCCV charging control, state switching, SoC estimation, cell balancing, and dynamic safety limits.
✓ Design EV powertrain and motor-control systems covering traction inverters, MOSFET/IGBT selection, PWM, FOC, field weakening, MTPA, DTC, regenerative braking, BLDC commutation, and position/sensorless feedback architectures.
✓ Develop VCU, ECU, and embedded automotive software architectures using state machines, multi-mode calibration, actuator coordination, AUTOSAR, embedded C/code generation, high-voltage sequencing, functional safety, and production-oriented validation.
✓ Integrate automotive sensing, networking, diagnostics, and functional-safety engineering through CAN/CAN FD, UDS, ISO-TP, ASIL analysis, fault containment, onboard monitoring, diagnostic calibration, FIU, SIL/HIL testing, and automated fault validation.
